Taylor Swift and Other Female Celebs are 2013 Top Web Searches

It was the year of the female celebrity when it comes to web searches according to Bing search trends. The top five most searched people on the web were ALL female! Among one of the most searched, Taylor Swift made a massive jump from 2012 to 2013 going from #10 to #4. Taylor, being her gracious self, attributed it to her fans:

“The fans keep raising the bar,” said Swift. “It makes me want to raise the bar on the music I’m making and make an even better next record.”

As for the top spot, Kim Kardashian was dethroned by Beyonce this year despite the news of her marriage and baby. Kardashian the top searched celebrity in 2012 was #2 behind headline making Beyonce. Rihanna was number three mostly because of her appearance at The Grammy Awards with Chris Brown. [To see the full list click this link]
